SafeSport - Course Instructions

UPDATE – DEC 8, 2021: 

The U.S. Center for SafeSport has transitioned to a new online training platform. Here are a few updates: 

• The URL for the new platform is: safesporttrained.org 
• The first time you try to log into the new platform, you will be required to either claim your existing account or create a new account. 
• The 16-digit U.S. Soccer access code previously used to access SafeSport Training no longer works. The new Enrollment Key is: JJFAQsQPWNRj01edWcPr
• As requested by the U.S. Center for SafeSport and U.S. Soccer, please do not post the Enrollment Key or URL below on any public platform. 
• To the extent you are requesting these instructions for purposes of US Club Soccer staff registration, please visit https://www.usclubsoccer.org/staff-registration for related information.  

INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS SAFESPORT TRAINING VIA THE U.S. CENTER FOR SAFESPORT’S “ABSORB” PLATFORM: 

1. Use this URL:  https://safesporttrained.org?KeyName=JJFAQsQPWNRj01edWcPr
2. Follow the instructions on that page to either access your existing account (if you have previously taken SafeSport Training), or to create a new account. (As a shortcut, you may start the process of accessing your prior SafeSport account via this link: https://safesporttrained.org/#/forgot-password) 
3. If prompted, log in to the new account you just created.   
4. Click the Menu and select Catalog 
5. Click the Enroll or Start button associated with the next applicable SafeSport course (one of the four below, listed in chronological order) to complete the training:
   5. SafeSport Trained – U.S. Soccer Federation 
   5. Refresher 1 
   5. Refresher 2 
   5. Refresher 3 

You are of course able and encouraged to complete any other available courses as well, but one of the four courses specified above must be completed as part of US Club Soccer’s registration and eligibility requirements. 

Access your certificate of completion, if applicable. 

INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: 

1. Select the Menu icon at the top-right of your page. 
2. Select Transcript. 
3. Open the transcript page displays, and locate the most current completion for the course under the Certificates section 
4. Select the Download button to the right of the completed course

SUBMIT A COPY OF THE COMPLETED COURSE TO YOUR TEAM COACH/MANAGER. ONCE THEY SUBMIT TO OUR LEAGUE FOR VERIFICATION WE WILL APPROVE YOUR REGISTRATION AND YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY
