Following a successful run to the finals in the League for Clubs, Boulder United FC Pumas look to have similar success in Mountain Premier League. "What excites us the most is our players coming together as a team and facing tough obstacles" explained Rojan Shrestha co-Owner of BUFC explained. Beginning in 2015 the 10 year old club has marked its decade by showing the ambition through joining national and regional leagues this year, most recently announcing their upcoming participation in the MLIS this Fall '25 and Winter '26.
Looking forward to the upcoming Mountain Premier League Fall season Rojan explained, "MPL is one of the most advanced amateur leagues, I'm looking forward to the experience and want our players to have fun competing. For our players, we will do our best to be a good team and partner to MPL. We are slightly nervous but excited to learn from everyone."

Mountain Premier League is a multi-state regional league offering clubs in Colorado, Idaho, Western Kansas/Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming a pathway to play and develop towards their goals of professional soccer in their markets. MPL is a member of USASA, affiliate of the Southwest Premier League (SWPL) and The League for Clubs (TLFC). Participants in MPL qualify or are eligible to participate in Region 4 and USASA National Cup competing for the coveted Fritz Marth Trophy.The tournament holds 100 years of US Soccer history and champions and 58 teams participating in 2024. Teams are also eligible for Lamar Hunt US Open Cup open qualifying rounds, SWPL Championship, NISA Nation National Index Championship and MPL player showcase events.
