NISA Affiliate Mountain Premier League is excited to announce Young Gunz FC has joined the MPL East Regional Division for 2024.

This addition will qualify Young Gunz FC to compete in the 100th Fritz Marth USASA National Amateur Cup this spring, NISA Independent Cup summer 2024, US Open Cup 2025 qualifying Fall 2024, and the NISA Nation National Championship in the Winter of 2024. 

Young Gunz FC was established in 2015, having promoted into the local Men's Open Division in 2018 the club went on to win 5 league titles. In 2022 and 2023 Young Gunz finished runners up in the UPSL Colorado Premier Division. This has them poised to compete for titles in the MPL East for 2024. The club's leadership under Jose Aquino, Brett Marshall, and Diego Velasco has brought back GM and Head Trainer Raul Ordaz. Ordaz will have assistants Marcus Jordan and Brett Marshall join him. Ordaz has coached locally for 10 years between Doherty HS and Mitchell HS. Marshall has been coaching for 3 years at Discovery Canyon HS. Jordan has also been coaching for 3 years at Palmer HS and 5 years with Colorado Pride. Returning key players announced so far are as follows; Forward Sergio Ramos Jr, Defender Jose Sanchez, Midfielder Denny Gallardo, Midfielder Devin Guidichessi. 

GM Ordaz is very excited about the prospect to progress through the MPL and NISA competitions to test his players and see them compete at new levels. Raul Ordaz explained, "Colorado Springs is filled with talent. Not many teams have taken the leap to competing outside of the city, but we just want to compete. We want to set an example for everyone around the Colorado Springs area." When asked about what makes Young Gunz FC successful Ordaz added, "Our team is a mix of youth and veterans who have one goal in mind, compete."

Home Games will be played primarily on weekend afternoons to coincide with league play schedules, with Vanguard HS as the primary host venue. El Pomar SC "Kent Olin Field" will be used as the alternate location. The NISA Nation, NISA Professional, WISL, and NISA Affiliate League family welcomes Young Gunz FC to the independent league system and wishes them success in all their future competitions.
