Colorado Rush and Cosmos FC Complete Division Alignment for MPL Spring Season.
The final teams are announced for 2023 Spring season. MPL offfering the only playing opportunity for teams to participate in; 2024 US Open Cup Qualifying, 2023 NISA Independent Cup, and the century old USASA National Amateur Cup 2023 (region IV title leader Denver Kickers with 5 titles last winning in 1995) .
Colorado Rush President and CEO John Carroll provided his thoughts on joining the USASA Mountain Region Multi State league. "The Colorado Rush is excited to bring a comprehensive Adult program into the Mountain Premier League this Spring. The league's NISA affiliation with a National platform is in line with our pathway to professionals." We welcome the CO Rush family and are excited to have them join the competition for 2023. CO Rush has historically and continues to provided a strong professional player pedigree and their participation will be enjoyed by the Mountain Premier League soccer community.
Cosmos FC joins Mountain Premier League after participating as a guest team in last years Tres Copas MPL finals event vs Albion Idaho and Peak Eleven FC. The group provided a competitive back and forth game and their participation in Spring 2023 is exciting news for the league. We caught up to team owner and manager Paco and he provided some thoughts, "My team is very excited for the new opportunity with the MPL and NISA. We played in the APSL Finals last year and were the semi-finalists, this new opportunity will hopefully bring us even more success! Mountian Premier League will finish the 2022 - 2023 season this Spring with Peak Eleven FC having qualified for the finals in the Fall campaign. The finals will be June 26/27th and held in Grand Junction CO located in the Rocky Mountains between Utah and Colorado. The finalists will be provided seeding in the NISA Independent Cup 2023. The Mountain Premier League is the official member of the USASA Multi-State League Tier, NISA Affiliate League system, and National Premier League Alliance. Teams vested and in 2 year current good financial stand serve on the leagues board of directors.
