The Mountain Premier League welcomes the first three teams in it's West Region Division for Spring 2023. The division will have five teams total competing in eight games four home and four away per team adding two cross bracket games in a neutral local location vs the East Region Division teams, a ten game season. The winner of the table will go to the finals in June for a chance to qualify for the $5000 in prize money sponsoring the entry into the NISA Independent Cup. Many clubs from the Idaho Utah area are still in talks with the MPL and five teams or more is the goal. Registration ends February 1st 2023. League schedules will be posted in February with the Spring schedule expected to kickoff March 12th 2023.

Utah FC Spider from Herriman Utah has been around for a couple years competing locally and is revitalized going into Spring behind the leadership of Isaac Acolaste.

African Stars SC has put together some of the best lineups historically in the Salt Lake area and look to continue to compete in the Mountain Premier League this Spring. Styve Kamungu has been positive about the future of soccer and the talent in Utah having famously announced his intentions of joining NISA in an interview at tryouts last Fall.

Provo Athletic Club is an official affiliate of Villarreal CF. Having a great Fall season in 2022 led by director and coach Ludwig Sanchez they will prove to be a force in the league for a long time in the Provo area.
